New Android 'Clio Mobile' app available in the Google Play store
The new Android app is available as a public release! This is a 'ground up' rebuild, and contains a number of changes and improvements.
- The 'core' voice library has been replaced with a more modern, feature-rich library that allows the Corvum team to add more features to the app. The most significant improvements:
- Multiple / concurrent call handling
- Ad-hoc call recording start/stop now present in the app
- Detailed call quality metrics

Corvum Web portal: UI refresh introducing Emergency 911 (E911) management and redesigned Contacts and Account Settings.
New
Emergency 911 (E911) Management:
- It is important to review and maintain your correct service address(es) for 911 emergency response purposes.
- New page under Account Settings for registering an emergency service address (street number/name, suite, city, state/province, postal code; US & Canada; English/French).
- Assign an E911 emergency caller ID to an individual user or to all users, designate primary work location (home/office), and review/accept the associated terms and liability notice.
- Where already confirmed, we've added your address and configuration already. Please review and make adjustments as needed!
Improved
- Contacts: Redesigned contact editor and settings. Added routing of inbound text/MMS attachments to a designated Documents folder, with a configurable catch-all folder for non-matching contacts.
- Account Settings: Redesigned General, Phone, Auto-Reply, Integrations, Security, Numbers, and Voicemail Box settings pages.
- Voicemail: Reworked voicemail experience, including improved microphone-permission handling.

Under the hood
- Platform-wide UI polish (phone-number input, autocomplete, loading states), updated background service worker for improved reliability, and dependency/tooling upgrades.
2026, January 29:
New Features
Settings: Added 'Account Name' Field for Admins
Admins can now view, set and change your 'Account Name' under 'Settings'. This is a strictly aesthetic feature and will become visible to all team members in upcoming iOS and Android app releases
Changes & Improvements
Call History Date Picker
The Call History 'date picker' was previously limited to selecting dates within the past calendar year - this has now been removed. You can now look up calls, call recordings, and call transcriptions from dates previous to the last 12 months.
Call stability improvements
Corvum technical and support teams identified one cause of rare webphone 'dropped call' incidents; this has been resolved in this update.
Dashboard Metrics 'Pie Chart'
A small aesthetic change was made to the 'Pie Chart' that improves rendering and appearance.
Additional Call Performance Data
Additional call performance data is now available to the Corvum technical and support teams - the webphone now provides more detailed network performance statistics for improved analysis. This is also a step towards providing live in-call network alerts.
Bug Fixes
Call forwarding correction
There was an issue with callerID not being set correctly when call forwarding was configured in the web portal; this has been corrected.
2025, November 18:
New Features
Missed Call Textback
You can now set up a text auto-reply that will automatically send a text message to any phone number that called you, but either:
- hung up while the phone was ringing;
- reached a voicemail box but did not leave a message;
- (optional) left a voice message.
You can use this feature to provide a point of contact to your callers, even when their call was not answered.
To make this feature even more useful, we have built it so that you can specify a different text message for numbers that are in your contacts list, and those that are not.
An example of a way you might use this would be to send a link to your intake form to numbers that are not already contacts - but send a more general message (or nothing at all) to callers that are already in your contacts list.
You can find this feature under 'Settings / SMS Autoreply':
SMS Autoreply 'Rate Limiting'
As you can see in the above image, the Corvum system will now only send a 'regular' text auto-reply, to the same number, once every 4h. This feature has been added to prevent a 'reflection situation' from happening when a different automated service has sent the message that is being replied to.
Changes & Improvements
SMS Autoreply now extended to include different messages
Just as with the new 'Missed Call Textback' feature, you can now set different text auto-replies for numbers that are existing contacts vs. those that are not in your contacts list.
You can find this feature under 'Settings / SMS Autoreply'.
'Phone status' returns to the main 'dashboard' page
To help our customers clearly see if / when their phone is not ready to make or take calls, we've returned the 'phone status' indicator to the main 'dashboard' page. This was previously what the 'presence' status indicator was used for, but was replaced by basic presence status.
You can find that indicator under 'My Information':
When the phone indicates it is 'ready', then you should be able to make and take calls. If there are any issues visible here, the next step would be to open the settings page to check permissions / mic / device settings.
Improved device management and troubleshooting
In 'Settings / Webphone', when there is an issue with some configuration or permissions setting, clicking the button indicating the issue will enact a pop-up to help immediately resolve the issue.
Change your account name / label
You can now change your Account Name under 'Settings / General'. This is an aesthetic adjustment - upcoming updates to the Corvum Mobile App will display your account name in 'header' area of the app UI.
Additional call recording configurations
By default, new accounts are set up with 'ad hoc' (in-call) call recording permitted -- you can tap the 'record' button while in a call to only record the portion of the call that you wish to.
There are now other options available (note that these settings are only adjustable by Corvum support staff):
- All recording off/blocked; ad-hoc recording not available.
- Recording call types are split into: Inbound calls, Outbound Calls, and Internal Calls.
- Each call type can be set to 'always record automatically' / 'allow ad-hoc in-call recording' / 'disable all recording'
- Each call type can be independently set, and can be different from the others. For example, you can set all inbound calls ONLY to be automatically recorded, outbound calls recordable in an ad-hoc manner, and internal calls never to be recorded.
-
The ai-powered 'call summary' can also be enabled / disabled for each call type.
Bug Fixes
- An issue with the Call History 'date picker' has been resolved. This caused empty returns, or only a single call record to be displayed when searching across dates further back in the past.
- Fix to Call History: CallerID shows up incorrectly on some inbound calls.
- Other minor fixes and performance improvements.
2025, October 11:
Changes & Improvements
Device and permissions troubleshooting / system check
It can be challenging to ensure that your Corvum app (or the web portal) has all the necessary permissions and settings needed for it to work properly. The most common support request our team receives is to help get these settings right.
Now you can confirm these settings and check that the expected audio devices are being used right within the Corvum portal.
You can find this new dialogue under 'Settings', here:
Phone registration status returns
When we added 'presence' to the Corvum system, it replaced the 'phone status' indicator out of necessity. Since this was a helpful indicator, you can find the status in the 'troubleshooting' dialogue (image above).
Added 'mic permissions not granted' banner
If the Corvum phone does not have microphone permissions, the phone will not be able to dial out. To make it immediately obvious if you run into this condition, an orange 'warning' banner will be shown across the app or web portal.
Improved 'failed call' feedback
If an outbound call fails for some reason, the phone will now present an error message or better information as to the cause of the failed call.
Bug Fixes
- Call history 'date picker' has been fixed: searching for calls across multiple dates in the past will reliably present all calls from the desired period. Previously, either no calls (or a single call) was being presented, and you had to search each date one at a time.
2025, September 12:
New Features
On-demand call recording has been added to the platform (webphone + desktop app only at this time)
Starting today, all new accounts now have 'on demand' call recording enabled by default!
The transcription service notes when call recording was started / stopped, and can handle multiple start/stop events in a single call.
To accommodate this, we've made some changes to the button layout in the webphone:
- Any Corvum account can add 'on demand call recording' for a small additional seat cost.
- If you already have 'all the time' call recording enabled, just let us know if you would like to switch to 'on demand' call recording (no change in cost).
- The 'record call' button will be added to the iOS and Android apps very soon!
Changes & Improvements
- Several appearance improvements and corrections have been made within the 'Settings' menu
- Scrolling has been added to 'Call Details'
- Transcription formatting improvements have been made
- 10DLC registration 'website' field now required, as per regulatory changes
Bug Fixes
- Communications list bug fixed: the 'Communications' list was not presenting information properly; this has been resolved.
- Call History and posting-to-Clio bug, on inbound call attended transfers. This did not properly present the call legs properly in 'Call History', nor were the legs properly posted to Clio; this has been fixed.
2025, July 24:
Changes & New Features
Presence has been added to the platform.
Starting today, you'll notice that presence has been added to the Corvum platform.
- Your own status indicator will change from 'grey / empty' to the familiar 'pulsing green' when you're online, and then to 'pulsing red' when you are on a call.
- You can now watch the status of all your your team members as well - easily found on the dashboard under 'Staff Members':
-
Any time one of your team members receive a call, you'll see their presence switch to 'red' and flash while their phones are ringing. This includes physical desk phones, MSTeams phones, Corvum webphone, Corvum desktop app, and the Corvum Mobile Apps.
- Any time a team member is making an outbound call and it is ringing, their presence status will change to 'flashing red'.
- When any of your team members is on a call, their presence status will show as 'pulsing red'.
- Please note that, while this feature does accurately display when a physical desk phone is 'ringing' or 'in use', it does not display that team member as 'online' if they are not also logged into the Corvum platform as well.
- When you are looking to transfer a call to anyone in your team, you can now easily see whether they are already on a call before initiating the transfer.
Changes
Update to Clio integration status, in the dashboard
This status now shows 'Needs Attention' when the integration has previously been connected, but has either been disconnected from the Clio side, or has run into an issue.
Bug Fixes
- Improved error handling for SSO login setup process (Google / 'Login with Clio')
- Corrected a bug where multiple voicemail messages could not be selected.
- Corrected a bug where voicemail counter would not update properly after receiving a new message, without reloading the portal
